History & Info: This delicate flower is a popular anti-aging tonic that has been used in Asia for centuries to support general health and well being. Shen Nong, the “Divine Healer”, believed Chrysanthemum to be a superior herb that prolongs long life. The famous Empress Dowager Ci Xi agreed with Shen Nong and made it one of here favorite regularly consumed herbs for her health and beauty.

It has traditionally been used to relieve heat in the upper body, head and chest, making it helpful for red, itchy, sore, and tired eyes. The cool acrid nature of Chrysanthemum helps disperse heat, soothing the headaches, congestion, sore throats, and light fevers.
